The project consists of a new 4,000 SF Community Center and Emergency Shelter for the City of Coffee City. Partial funding was through a CDBG grant. The building consists of a 40’ x 50’ multipurpose room, two offices, restrooms, shower, utility and space for a future kitchen facility. The building is situated on a ridge overlooking Lake Palestine.
Mark Thacker was hired by Schaumburg & Polk, Inc. to provide design on this important community project.
