Longview Post Office 

While working on another preservation project in downtown Longview, Mark had to swing around in town and snap a photo of a previous project.

The Longview Post Office (downtown station) was built in 1939 and dedicated in 1940.  As stately as this historic building is, it does not carry any historic designations.  It does contain an interior mural sanctioned by the Treasury Section of Fine Arts in 1942.
